Origins and attitudes
Saddle horse originally from northern Iran (Kurdistan). Breed of local importance. Excellent riding horse for desert areas for its particular resistance to difficult climates. Like other Persian horses it looks similar to Arabian horses.
Morphological characters
Type: mesomorphic.
Coat: chestnut, bay, gray, blackberry.
Height at the withers: 150 - 165 cm.
Very hard hooves.
Willing, balanced character.
